Analysis: The rookie didn't receive a single carry in Week 1, but got heavy usage in the second half after starter Rob Kelley exited with a rib injury that threatens his availability for next week's game against Oakland. Perine will be worth considering for a starting spot in fantasy lineups if Kelley can't go against the Raiders.

Analysis: Perine still figures to get plenty of opportunities this season, so keep an eye on him and how productive Kelley is early.

Analysis: Perine also caught a 29-yard pass from backup QB Colt McCoy, part of a much stronger performance for Perine than a week ago, when he fumbled. "A major step up," coach Jay Gruden said.
