Watson cards 65 to grab lead at Riviera

LOS ANGELES (AP) Bubba Watson started with a 7-iron that stopped rolling 18 inches from the cup for a tap-in eagle . He chipped in for birdie. He moved the ball left and right, whatever Riviera required, and finished with a 6-under 65 for a one-shot lead Saturday in the Genesis Open.

Yes, golf is much easier for him than basketball.

And the highlights are going to look a lot better than when he took part in the NBA All-Star celebrity challenge Friday night.

Dutchman Luiten wins inaugural Oman Open

ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) South Korea's Jin Young Ko shot a 3-under par 69 Sunday to clinch a 3-shot, start-to-finish win the Women's Australian Open.

Playing in her first tournament as a full LPGA member, Ko shot 65, 69, 71, 69 to lead after all four rounds and to finish with a total of 274, 14-under par at the Kooyonga Golf Club. She is the first player to win her first tournament as an LPGA member in the tour's 67-year history. Read More...

Durant shoots 63 to lead Chubb Classic

NAPLES, Fla. (AP) Joe Durant birdied five of the last eight holes for a 9-under 63 to match Steve Stricker's Saturday finish and take the second-round lead in the PGA Tour Champions' Chubb Classic.

Woods to play Honda Classic

LOS ANGELES (AP) Tiger Woods is playing the Honda Classic, this third PGA Tour start as he tries to build up his game for the Masters.

It will be the first time since 2014 that Woods plays at PGA National, about a 20-minute drive from his home in South Florida.
